Participants must present a video of either an actual supervision session or with someone acting as a supervision client. (Video release required.) These videos will be reviewed during intense individual and group workshop supervision.
The workshop offers in-depth coverage of feedback delivery, supervision models, internationality, ethical and legal implications, multicultural/diversity issues, goal setting, supervision methods and techniques, assessment, contrast between group and individual supervision, self-assessment, group process, termination and thorough supervised practice of supervision skills.
Between the first session and the second, participants will prepare a 30-minute multicultural/diversity presentation and an integrative capstone paper. Once registration is complete, the presenter will contact participants with final workshop details via email. Finally, participants will receive feedback and consultation after completion of the workshop.
Please Note: This class is an advanced practitioner's course, and requires at least 3 years of counseling experience.

Bio(s) of Presenters:
Rodney Harris, PhD, LPCS, NCC, ACS, DCC, BCC: Rodney has numerous years of counseling, supervising and consulting experience. He has also completed the training requirements and been endorsed to teach the supervision series “Mirror-in-the-Mirror” by Dr. Shirley Huffman and Dr. Dwaine Phifer. They received the 2012 President’s Award for Outstanding Contributions in the Field of Clinical Supervision.
Lili Sznaidman, MS, LPCS: Lili Sznaidman received her Master’s of Science degree in Counseling from the Department of Counseling & Educational Development at The University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1996. She was consequently invited and served on the departmental faculty Advisory Board for five years. She holds credentials as a National Certified Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor, Approved Clinical Supervisor, and as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS).
Lili has worked in the field for over seventeen years providing mental health services in English and in Spanish in a variety of settings, including a domestic violence program, a non-profit mental health clinic, providing school-based adolescent groups, and in private practice for over seven years. She has provided clinical supervision and consultation throughout the years, to Master’s in Counseling student Interns, LPC candidates, and to fully licensed mental health colleagues.
Lili served on the Board of Directors of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of North Carolina (LPCANC) for five years in several capacities, including as its President in 2011.
She has trained in Clinical Supervision and became a Trainer of the Mirror-In-the-Mirror model under the instruction of the model’s creators, Drs Dwaine Phifer, and Shirley Huffman in 2010. Since then, she has provided condensed versions of the trainings to LPC advanced supervisors seeking continuing education hours in clinical supervision for licensure renewal. Lili has also conducted several clinical supervision workshops in a 3-hour curriculum she developed, focusing on a relational psychodynamic model of clinical supervision.
Cancellation Policy: If cancelled before June 30, a full refund of the amount paid will be issued. If cancelled after June 30 but before July 20, a full refund minus $75 administration fee will be issued, or 100% credit towards future training will be issued. Cancellations after July 20 will receive credit only for 75% of the amount paid (no refunds after July 20).
