Description:
Panel Presentation and Case Review: working with diverse
populations can represent challenging situations for
Counselors and mental health treatment specialists
must be alert to ethical issues which may arise in
the therapeutic relationship. This panel presentation
will address the basic ethical standards of care and
particular focus will be on diverse populations who
present for treatment and for whom Counselors strive
to provide compassionate and ethical treatment protocols.
Case studies and practice guidelines will be presented.
This workshop meets criteria for 3-hour “ethics”
continuing education hours.
