Description:
Have you ever been faced with a client in crisis and,
despite your good counseling skills, you didn't know
exactly how to guide the individual through their
crisis? Drs. Jeff Mitchell and George Everly developed
a toolbox of resources to help in such situations.
Join us to learn more about these resources, get an
overview of the history of Critical Incident Stress
Management, look at crisis stress, and review the
debriefing process to aid in crisis situations. This
presentation will only be an overview of a more extensive
training.
About the Presenter:
Mr. Maas is currently a LPC at Forsyth Medical Center
Behavioral Health and has been providing mental health
services since 1984. He is trained and certified in
Critical Incident Stress Management through the International
Critical Incident Stress Foundation and is a provider
of CISM through the Crisis Care Network.
RSVP:
Please RSVP to Keith Mobley at
by Tues. May 22 to confirm seating (space
