Healthy brain development is impacted when youth are subjected to traumatic events and in particular child abuse and neglect. This brief workshop will provide a general overview on the brain & brain development; trauma, and its impact on the brain; how attachment effects healthy brain development and treatment strategies for working with traumatized youth and focusing on healthy brain development.
