LPCANC 13th Annual Conference:
Emerging Paradigms in Counseling: Practical Applications for a New Decade

Dear Counselors and Colleagues,

We are in full planning mode for our LPCANC Annual conference, which will be held on October 15-16, 2010 at the first class and spacious Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Cary, NC. Our conference theme this year is: Emerging Paradigms in Counseling: Practical Applications for a New Decade.

We are pleased and excited to announce our keynote speaker, Samuel T. Gladding, BA, MAEd, PhD, LPC. Dr. Gladding is currently the Department Chair and Professor in the Department of Counseling at Wake Forest University and is a nationally recognized speaker and author of publications including recent books such as Counseling: A Comprehensive Profession (5th ed.) (2004), Group Work: A Counseling Specialty (5th ed.) (2008), The Creative Arts in Counseling (3rd ed.) (2005), and Family Therapy: History, Theory, & Process (4th ed.) (2007). We are now also soliciting program proposals for the conference breakout sessions taking place on Friday, October 15, 2010 and Saturday, October 16, 2010. We encourage you to submit a proposal for consideration by the conference committee. (Click here for a copy.)
