Description: This presentation will provide an introduction to dance and drama therapy. Participants will receive basic information on these expressive art therapies in regards to education, training and basic techniques. Participants also will hear how Angela uses dance and drama therapy in her work with children, adults, survivors of abuse/trauma and those struggling with addictions.

Presenter: Angela is a Board Certified-Dance Movement Therapist and a Registered Drama Therapist/Board Certified Trainer. Angela works as a verbal therapist, dance/movement therapist and a drama therapist with children, adults and families in Greensboro. Angela has specialized training in working with victims of abuse, people with developmental and physical limitations, and individuals struggling with eating disorders and substance abuse.
