
Major Changes Proposed for Licensed Professional Counselors Act (LPC Act)
Working diligently with our lobbyist Ashley Perkinson and the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors (NCBLPC), LPCANC has proposed a number of major changes to Article 24 of North Carolina General Statutes (“The LPC Act”). These changes are reflected in “AN ACT AMENDING THE LICENSED PROFESSIONAL COUNSELORS”, (H746), sponsored by Rep. Verla Insko and filed in the NC House of Representatives today.
