Emily Fry is a counselor at Johnston Recovery Services in Clayton, NC and has been since February 2017 as a registrant for the North Carolina Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board. She became an LPCA in May 2017 and an LCASA in October 2017. 


Abstract: 

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is an evidence-based practice for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder. This presentation will outline what Medication Assisted Treatment is, how it provides integrative care within the clinic and within the medical community, and educate counselor on sign and symptoms of Opioid Use Disorder.  

 

Learning Objectives:

Education counseling professionals on Medication Assisted Treatment; provide resources and support for counselors who come across individuals presenting with Opioid Use Disorder.


All First Friday Webinars are 1-hour long and receive 1 contact hour of continuing education credit. LPCANC is an NBCC-approved provider (ACEP) #5807.
