Children and COVID-19: Helping Children Cope in a Time of Uncertainty

We are all trying to understand the Coronavirus pandemic. For parents and caregivers, this is a uniquely challenging time. Kids have questions that are hard to answer, and fears they may not know how to express. This webinar, presented by Meg Hamilton, LCMHC, ATR and Dr. Lina RoHo (an epidemiologist and infectious diseases doctor) reviews tools for helping children understand Coronavirus, and identify and cope with their virus-related anxieties. One tool that will be reviewed is a worksheet packet created by Meg and Dr. RoHo designed to provide factual information about Coronavirus and activities for helping children ages 5-9 ask their questions and cope with their worries.

Note:  This webinar is an update to the previous May 8 webinar titled "Helping Children & Families Understand Covid19 & Cope w/ Virus Related Anxiety".  Both Dr. Lina RoHo and Meg Hamilton will present this updated webinar on August 7.
